For my first collection,  Kenchiku , I was led to elaborate a pattern and a prototype for one of the pieces I had designed.

Jiin is the result of this exercice. The chest darts are transformed into pleats, the waist darts turned into panels seams to allow for two pleated strips on each side of the skirt.
